Today I was writing out a sympathy card to one of my aunts. I was trying to find a perfect Bible verse that accurately described what I wanted to say. I stumbled across this verse, "When you go through deep waters, I will be with you." Isaiah 43:2 Now, I believe that God talks to me through verses of the Bible or songs at church...or even sometimes when I write out my feelings in my diary. It struck me that God is speaking to me.
For the last week I've had anxiety attacks from my upcoming wedding. I'm questioning if I'm doing the right thing or if I'm going to be able to walk down the aisle. This has been running though my mind...so much. In my heart I know God brought my fiance and I together. People might say I'm crazy, but I really do believe that. As I read this verse tonight I realized that God was telling me...I will always be with you. I will walk with you while you stand up and marry this man, this good good man who loves Christ too. We are the cord that can't be easily broken.
I pray I remember your promise.
